New Features of 6.8 Upgrade
The features incorporated into EIKASP for 6.8 Upgrade are: |

IPHONE INTERFACE:
Synopsis:
The main objective of including this feature is the functionality has to be done over the phone. Clients would like to use their cell phones such as the Apples IPhone and Blackberry Models (called Smart Phones) to access the web. Sales and Marketing application has been added as a new feature to the existing application. This makes easy to access.
Features:
The feature has the following modules:
• Lead List
• Customer List
• Staff Response List
Lead List:
The Admin has the control to choose the Leads or Customers. Those who are using the demo product will be treated as Leads. The Page displays the Property Name, Name and Phone details of the Leads.
New Leads can be added. Existing Leads can be modified and the leads can also be deleted. The Leads will be assigned to the workers to follow up. For adding, deleting and assigning separate links are provided. Lead will be modified by clicking the Property Name.

Customer List:
The Lead will be moved to Customer by the Admin/Worker. The Page shows the Customer details. Add, Modify and Delete the Customers can be done here. |

Staff Response List:
The Page has been designed in order to response to Customer by Email, Phone or Fax. In this page the list of Leads and Customers will be displayed. Add, Modify, Delete, Assign Leads and Merge Leads can be done here. The Leads are merged in order to avoid the duplicate contacts.
The bottom of all the pages has the links to Home of the Application, Lead List and Staff Response List.

SWIPE CARD:
The existing application has the feature of using the Swipe Card only if authorization (Authorize.net) given by the Admin. Now the 6.8 Upgrade has the enhanced feature of swiping the card whether the authorization will be given or not. The Admin has to approve for authorization or non authorization.
NIGHT AUDIT REPORTS:
Once the night audit report was run for a particular selected day and while checking the display result generated, the details about tax, discount etc will be generated for that particular day only. This new feature has overridden the feature of the Reports which generates as a whole.
MINIMUM NIGHTS RULE:
As a new feature, Seasonal rates have been added in addition to the Regular Rates. This feature is specially to define the rates for specific seasons like New Year, Christmas etc. When the customer selects the date and if it matches with seasonal dates, the rules which have been set up under this section will be applied.

PMS COORDINATION:
The current application has the feature of login to the Property only through the pre-defined login like https://apps.gracebeta.com/PMS2 or https://apps.gracebeta.com/PMS6 so on. Now the new feature has the facility of login through one single PMS, i. e https://apps.gracebeta.com/PMS
MESSAGE CENTER:
In order to transform quick and accurate information, Message Center is incorporated. It is easy-to-use, multi functional which enables everyone to send, receive mails. The users will be given unique login id to access and password for security.

PELICAN REPORTS:
For the payment reports, newly added reports are Payment Type Report and Payment Settlement Reports. The reports can be run for any period. The detailed transactions will be provided in Payment Type Report and Summary of the transaction will be generated in Payment Settlement Report.

GDS:
As an enhanced feature in GDS, we have Rate upload as a separate and Surcharges for Week end has been applied. While a customer is uploading the rates from EIKASP to CRS, information will be displayed for other customers to wait when they try to access before the rate uploading gets over.

TAX REPORT:
The details of the tax will be generated for a particular selected day instead of generating as a whole.
MAIL MERGE:
In generating the email to Customer, new fields have been added in the Letter creation and Letter editing Page.

DAILY RATE CHART:
This new feature has been added which displays the rate of each unit available for booking. The unit rates will be displayed for a week from current date of the year. The unit rate details will be provided in the chart to any type of search for any date, months etc.
The rooms not available for booking will be shown as empty cells shaded. The rate will be displayed only for the rooms available for booking.
